What: Choreography for Saharony Ellil
Where: Dance Resource Base, 35 Donegall Street, Belfast
When: Sunday 20th March 2011, 14:00 - 16:00

2 hour workshop, learning choreography to "Saharony Ellil". DVD of technique, including break down of combinations/choreograpy and lyrics of song will be provided on the day. Dance is intended to show off a full circle skirt.

Shaabi Choreography workshop (Hatta Anta Kaman)

Dance Workshops with Kay Taylor
Kay is head of teacher training at JWAAD and owner of Faridadance. She is a fantastic teacher and performer. Not to be missed.

Workshop 1: Dramatic Pauses. 10:00 - 12:00
Kay Taylor explains how to add drama and emotion to your dance through effective pauses. Doing nothing can be far more effective than doing too much. A look at how to get the balance between movement and stillness. Kay will use different styles of music to help explore these dramatic pauses.
Workshop 2: Baladi Babes. 13:00 - 16:00
Using a modern piece of baladi music, this class allows you to explore the Baladi style used in Cairo today. Fun and upbeat with sensual slow sections. Some improvisation required.
